Chronic interstitial nephritis: Description, Causes and Risk Factors: Chronic interstitial nephritisChronic interstitial nephritis is a clinicopathologic syndrome, their primary process involving the renal interstitial and related structures, as time goes by, causing a series of characteristic dysfunction. If accompanied by interstitial inflammation, should call chronic interstitial nephritis. Pathological changes are usually only see atrophy, sclerosis or tumor infiltration.   • Other Agents: Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, Leptospira, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Schistosoma mekongi, Toxoplasma, Chlamydia.
Hereditary Diseases: Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.
  • Medullary cystic disease-juvenile nephronophthisis.
Metabolic Disturbances: Hypercalcemia/nephrocalcinosis. Immune-Mediated Disorders: Renal allograft rejection.
