Eosophobia Description, Causes and Risk Factors: Eosophobia is the fear of dawn or daylight.  The origin of the word eoso is Greek (meaning dawn) and phobia is Greek (meaning fear). Eosophobia is usually caused by an intense negative experience from your past. But your mind can also create that fear seemingly without basis.
