Top 5 Nutrition Facts

There are a lot of discussions and disagreements about nutrition facts, rules and advice. And you can get confused by reading each of opinion. But all experts and specialists agree at 5 basic rules we gonna share with you here today.

  1. Do not consume added sugar!

    Added sugars are not naturally occurred sugars and syrups which people put in food during preparation, for example, candy, cakes, cookies, energy drinks etc. It’s a fact that added sugars contain empty calories that don’t fit your organism by nutrients. But, what is more dangerous about it that if you consume it you are in danger of obesity and type 2 diabetes because of fructose in it.

  2. Avoid artificial trans fats.

    Trans fats are made from unsaturated fats and hydrogen gas. They are not natural but can be industrially produced from vegetable fats and used in margarine, frying fast food, snack food etc. Trans fats increase amount of bad cholesterol and cut good one, what leads to obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, depression and other diseases.

  3. Eat a lot of vegetables every day.

    Vegetables are rich in variety of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Moreover, it will not only maintain your healthy weight, but keep you healthy in general and make risk of illnesses much lower.

  4. Get enough of vitamin D.

    Vitamin D plays a role of steroid hormone in an organism. Our skin is able to produce vitamin D under the ultraviolet rays of the sun. However, in some places there is no sun for years and people may feel a strong need in this vitamin. If a person doesn’t get enough of it, it may cause cancer and diabetes. In case, you are living in not sunny places, you should take Vitamin D supplement or a spoon of cod fish liver oil every day.

  5. The best diet for you is the one that you are able to follow and which works exactly for you.

    We are all different and there is no perfect diet that will be good for all organisms. Try to make an experiment changing the diets you like and you definitely will see which is better for you. Remember that you are unique and it’s normal if a famous diet used by Cameron Diaz doesn’t work for you.
