Infertility in Women Might Be Caused By a Virus
Scientists came to solving infertility problem in many perfectly healthy women. The reason may be a virus such as chicken pox, which affects the proteins that help in preparing a body for pregnancy. It lives in a womb. Researchers have found traces of the virus in nearly half of the women who are not able to conceive.
Huge number of women who faced problems with conception have a diagnose as unexplained infertility. It is easy to understand from the name that doctors simply can not understand what prevents women on the path to pregnancy. And now scientists from the University of Ferrara, found that half of the victims of female infertility have a virus called HHV-6A, which is spread by bacteria that are very similar to those that cause chickenpox. The virus is transmitted through saliva.

However, none of the women who participated in the study was not a carrier of infection. The virus lives on the surface of the uterus, where according to researchers, it has impact on proteins that help a body to prepare for pregnancy. This connection has to be proven, but it is quite possible that the destruction of the bacteria can restore fertility in women.
