Being Married Can Help People with Type 2 Diabetes to Stay Fit

In their study, the team of researchers from Yokohama City University revealed that single people with type 2 diabetes were twice as likely to become overweight compared to married people.being married

They also found that married men were less likely to suffer metabolic syndrome, a combination of diabetes high blood pressure and obesity which damages the blood vessels. Unfortunately, this didn’t apply to women.

During the European Association for the Study of Diabetes meeting in Munich, the experts said that people in a relationship were more likely to eat healthily, take their medication, and visit doctor if they were sick.
