Some Personality Types Could Be More Prone to Certain Diseases

A recent research, conducted by the team of scientists from the University of Nottingham and the University of California observed different personality types and discovered that some types might be more prone to health issues such as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and diabetes.personality types

Having analyzed the data received from 7,000 participants with the average age of 68, the researchers concluded that high conscientiousness, extroversion, openness, agreeableness, and low neuroticism were associated with better health or absence of disease.

The researchers suggest that conscientious people are more likely to have active lifestyles, maintain healthy diets and have more self-control, so are less likely to smoke or drink alcohol or abuse drugs.
