Diet High in Saturated Fats Connected to Aggressive Prostate Cancer

A new U.S. study says that men with prostate cancer are more likely to get aggressive form of the cancer if their diet contains a lot of saturated fats from meat and dairy.saturated fats

The study also found that the link between unhealthy fats in the diet and aggressive prostate cancer was also strongest for men of European descent compared to African American men.

Emma Allott, a lead author from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, says: “A diet high in saturated fat contributes to high blood cholesterol levels, which have already been linked to worse outcomes for prostate cancer.”
