The World Health Organization (WHO) released the new recommendations for the minimum amount of regular exercising people need to accomplish every week and it’s at least 600 minutes. Although the number may seem intimidating, if you hit this goal, it can considerably reduce your risk of developing 5 chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and breast and bowel cancers.
The team of researchers from the USA and Australia has carefully analyzed the results of 174 studies published between 1980 and 2016. Each of this study measured the connection between levels of regular exercising and at least one of the five diseases.
Thus, the scientists have come to the conclusion that the oftener a person performs regular exercising, the lower risk of developing of all five diseases was. Those people who were working out for 3,000 – 4,000 minutes showed the greatest health benefits.
