Most psychologists, if not all, agree that watching a television series that initially gives a person pleasure and joy, later changes its vector of influence on the negative. The viewing itself acts as a drug, as it is interesting to continue the development of events, the continuation of the fascinating love story or the investigation of a complex crime, and now you begin to lose touch with real life.
Naturally, we are talking only about the fanatical viewing of the series, which the person watches at the same breath: eating the series after series, putting own life on “later”, and sticking the eyes to the screen.
The television series, in general, become such a distracting maneuver for the viewer, who lives the lives of non-existent people and forgets about own problems and adversities. Researchers unanimously assert that the creators of serials catch spectators on such a psychological hook, forcing them to watch further their movie. This is directly related to the human psyche, which does not like the unfinished action, but this effect was achieved by the creators of the series, because the unexpected end of the viewing entails activating the effect of an unfinished action: such a vicious circle.
It is noted that the series represent a ready-made “reality” for a person and does not provide any experience, except the experience of the viewer. It is impossible to borrow valuable life skills that are so necessary in reality.
