Why Broccoli, Avocado, and Cabbage Make You Younger

A team of scientist from Washington University in St Louis found that such foods as broccoli, avocado, and cabbage contain a compound nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) that is able to slow down aging. This compound lowers deterioration of bone density, liver function, metabolism, and eye function.broccoli

The compound was tried and tested on aged mice in order to check the influence of these superfoods.

Professor Shin-ichiro Imai from Washington University in St Louis says: “We have shown a way to slow the physiologic decline that we see in aging mice. This means older mice have metabolism and energy levels resembling that of younger mice.”
