    I HAVE GLUTEN ALLERGY,MY DOCTOR ADVISED ME TO HAVE BREAD OF MAIZE.I HAVE BEEN TAKING IT SINCE LAST ONE YEAR.I HAVE ITCHING PROBLEM.I HAVE THYROID ALSO.TAKING MEDICINE REGULARLY AND KEEPING IT UNDER CONTROL.WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET RID OF ITCHING.SHOULD I STOP MAIZE BREAD,IF YES THEN WHAT TO EAT TO AVOID WHEAT ALLERGY.i am 66 years old.

      Itching may develop not only due to allergies, as a matter of fact, it may be a manifestation of other disorders, therefore, you should consult with your GP. Maize does not contain gluten so it’s unlikely that the bread has caused your itching.
